Returns & Refund Policy – StreetSpec SA

At StreetSpec SA, we strive to provide high-quality automotive accessories. This Returns & Refund Policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa.
1. Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)
In accordance with the ECT Act, customers may cancel their order within 7 (seven) days of delivery without providing a reason.
To qualify:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Items must be returned in original packaging
- All accessories and components must be included
Note:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- A full refund will be processed within 7–14 working days after inspection
2. Defective or Faulty Products
In terms of the CPA, customers may return products within 6 (six) months if the item is:
- Defective
- Damaged
- Not as described
- Not fit for purpose
Customers are entitled to:
- A repair
- A replacement
- OR a full refund
StreetSpec SA reserves the right to inspect the product before approving the claim.
3. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong item:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- We will arrange collection and replacement at no cost
4. Change of Mind Returns
StreetSpec SA may accept returns for change of mind under the following conditions:
- Return requested within 7 days of delivery
- Product is unused and in original packaging
Important:
- A handling/restocking fee may apply
- Original delivery fees are non-refundable
- Return courier costs are for the customer
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Installed or used products (especially LED lights, globes, etc.)
- Electrical items that have been fitted incorrectly
- Clearance or sale items
- Custom or special-order items
6. Refund Process
- Refunds are processed once items are received and inspected
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method
- Processing time: 7–14 working days
7. Return Process
To initiate a return:

- Include:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos (if defective)
Do not send items back without approval.
